Kevin McMahon – OWNER / Head Coach

Kevin McMahon is a former elite power tumbler and USA Gymnastics National Team Coach.

Kevin started coaching in 1996 in Dubuque before moving to Clermont, Florida in 2001 to work with 1988 USA Gymnastics Olympic Team Member, Brandy Johnson.  There he began coaching levels 7 - 10 and helped start the elite program where they had placed athletes on the Junior Olympic National Team and USA Gymnastics National Team! They had athletes earn gymnastics scholarships to Universities such as Florida, Illinois, Auburn, Michigan, Alabama, and Washington.

Kevin moved to Hawaii in 2006 to start working at a new program called Island Tumblers. There he was the head coach of the Level 8 Hawaii Regional Team, and had athletes qualify to level 9 Western Nationals and level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals.  He also had athletes make the TOPs (Talent Opportunity Program) National Team.

He then coached two years in California for current UCLA Co-Head Coach, 1992 Olympian, and 2004 Olympic Coach, Chris Waller. He had athletes make the TOPs National Team and helped out with the UCLA Gymnastics Camps.  

Besides coaching, Kevin has choreographed for numerous gyms in the United States and every year, choreographs for multiple gyms including some of the gyms in Hawaii!

Outside of gymnastics, he loves hiking, cooking, Crossfit, traveling and spent one summer backpacking Europe. 

Kevin recently moved back into the Dubuque in 2017 and is looking forward to building a strong gymnastics presence in the Dubuque community and surrounding areas.

 

Alanna Callahan - Manager/COACH

Alanna began her career in gymnastics at the age of 3.  She competed in the USAG Gymnastics program and attended Winona State University to compete at the collegiate level.  Alanna also began judging at the age of 16 and later went on to judge level 10 gymnastics and college meets across the country!  

She has coached gymnastics through her high school and college years, including time at Chelsea Piers in New York City.  Alanna shares her love of the sport with others through coaching.

After college, Alanna became a mother/baby nurse and worked until she had her first child.  She spent time home with her family until All Around Gymnastics moved to Dubuque.  Her family loves being in the gym!  Outside of gymnastics, Alanna enjoys spending time with her husband and 6 children, being outside, traveling, and running! 

 

Deidre Navarro - Coach

Deidre comes all the way from Gilbert, Arizona where she cheered competitively for USA Youth Fitness Center, home of Olympic Bronze Medalist, Alex Naddour. Deidre enjoyed competing for their international co-ed level five team where they traveled as far as the USASF Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida. She has been coaching gymnastics, tumbling and cheer for the past five years and as head coach she went undefeated with two junior level teams.

Deidre shares her knowledge of the sport by coaching at summer camps, fun nights, and birthday parties. She loves to spend any minute of her free time with her daughter Elizabeth and is eager to get her into gymnastics. She is happy to have relocated and found a new place she can call home here at All Around Academy of Gymnastics.

Erin Dema- Coach

Erin started tumbling and trampoline at the age of 7. She competed tumbling for 10 years and competed trampoline for 5 years through USTA and AAU. Erin has been coaching for the past 5 years through after school programs and starting her own gym before finally finding her way to All Around! Her love of the sport pushes her to inspire her students to become better gymnasts

 Erin enjoys spending time with her friends and family and especially her 4 fur babies. When she is not coaching at All Around, she is working as an accountant or coaching the Marquette Catholic High School dance team.
