2-3 YEAR-OLDS

This exciting class is for your toddler and you: Mommy, Daddy, Babysitter, etc! The class is designed for our youngest gymnasts. Children will be introduced to many different movements and equipment to enhance their coordination.

 All activities will be directed toward advancing your child's coordination and motor skills while interacting and socializing with other toddlers. All equipment is age and size appropriate, ensuring safety and success in learning.

Fun-filled obstacle courses, trampolines and games will be sure to delight and entertain your active gymnast!

Preschool Gymnastics

4-5 YEAR OLDS

Details: 

  • 1 class a week per session (4 weeks)

  • Run time: 45 minutes

  • Class Ratio 4:1 or 7:2

This class is designed for the active preschooler. Your young gymnast will begin to learn basic gymnastic skills on the balance beam, bars, vault and floor. This class offers much attention and praise as your child is safely led through obstacle courses and activities that progress his/her gymnastics experience!  

Beginner Gymnastics

5 AND older

Details:

  • 1 Class a week per session (4 weeks)

  • Run time: 60 minutes

  • Class Ratio 8:1

Our beginner's gymnastics class focuses on the fundamental skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridge work on the floor. Walks, kicks, and terminology are introduced on beam. Pullovers, casting and back hip circles are taught on bars. Children are also taught vaulting drills and how to jump onto the vault and "sticking."

Intermediate Gymnastics

Intermediate students must have the following skills to move into this program:

  • Back walkover on floor

  • Pullover and Back hip Circle on bars

Details:

  • Run time: 90 minutes

  • Class Ratio 8:1

This 90 minute class challenges the gymnast with handstand skill work, variations of cartwheels, starts the beginning steps of back handsprings and "pre-flipping." On the balance beam, levers, handstands and cartwheels are introduced along with jumps on the beam.  On the uneven bars, we begin teaching the kip and toe on dismount.  Athletes will also begin working the handstand flat backs and handsprings on vault.

Advanced Gymnastics

Advanced students must have the following skills to move into this program:

  • Back handspring on floor

  • Handstand on beam

  • Developing the kip on bars

  • Run time: 90 minutes

  • Class Ratio 8:1

This class is for our most advanced gymnasts.  Gymnasts will begin learning the kip on the bars, handstands, cartwheels and walkovers on the beam along with more complex leaps and jumps.  Gymnasts will also begin learning the front handsprings on floor along with aerials and flipping.
